Soarwood

Following the Planar Collapse in 1133 many trees were found to be imbued with additional magic properties, primarily in the more heavily Feywild connected forests and shadow touched areas. The wood made from these trees was found to be easily enchanted to enable it to float permanently.
However trees that are touched by this additional magic take much longer to grow, and are very tough to cut down. And if cut down incorrectly do lose the innate magic.
