The Dagger Coast

The dagger coast covers most of the western coastline of Astora, running from Tor Dorthanolin in the south to Azzorah in the north. It is frequently wracked by heavy winds and storms, largely fed by The Maelstrom. This, paired with its mountainous coast almost completely devoid of safe harbors dotted with hundreds of small islands gives rise to its moniker, as well as its reputation for sinking ships captained by novice or foolhardy captains.
