Zeos Technology Corporation

One of the most powerful forces in the Galactic Enforcement Agency, ZTC owns entire planets and more. Their lobbyists wield enormous influence over the government, their products hold virtual monopolies on countless sectors, and they buy any research that promises to improve the lives of GEA civilians to ensure it makes them a profit.

Structure

Z-Tech is publically owned and tradable on the GFM (Galactic Financial Market). However, the vast majority of shares are in the posession of oligarchs using shell companies and foundations to conceal their identities.   The Shareholders appoint a Board of Directors, who appoint executive officers. Executive Officers can appoint Corporate Presidents for company-owned planets and stations. ZTC's bureaucracy reaches unfathomable levels as it employs billions, if not more.   While ZTC does recruit employees from outside its own ranks, the vast majority of rank-and-file workers are drawn from ZTC owned planets. Those born on ZTC planets are assigned a Lifetime Employment Contract along with their birth documentation, ensuring them gainful employment for the duration of their natural lives (and when applicable, beyond). Lifetime employees receive a company provided education, live with company assigned family units in company assigned dormatories, and eat at company assigned cafeterias. From the moment they're born they are inundated with messaging that reinforces the benevolence and competence of the company and its leadership. Their entire purpose is to create value for the shareholders.   Lifetime employees start work at a very young age and often perform important, but menial and undesirable, roles. Entire planets of data entry accounts receivable employees. It is rare for Lifetime Employees (LE's) to rise high in the organization, as the Company values outside perspectives and experience -- especially from people with government experience to work for them as lobbyists.
