Following their Gods' disappearance, and lacking the wisdom of their leaders, the Elves of the Ancient Courts grew purposeless and strayed far from their original meaning. Malice and vileness infected the minds of those rulers, who turned on one another and soiled Aedelwynn's land with the blood of kin and men.
