Alarm
A favorite of reclusive wizards who value their privacy, the alarm spell guards against unwanted intrusion.
Effect
The caster may choose a door, window, or area within range that is no larger than a 20-foot cube. Until the spell ends, an alarm alerts the caster whenever a creature crosses the selected barrier. The caster may designate creatures who will not set off the alarm during the casting of the spell.
The caster may also choose if the alarm is mental or audible to all. The alarm produces the sound of a hand bell for audible, and a mental ping to the caster directly if mental.
