The Grimoire of Nefraijat

Nefraijat mastered and perfected the wild tempest of undeath, establishing the dark arts of Necromancy. Though this power had always been present in a raw and untempered form, it was Nefraijat that truly perfected it. All of her knowledge and powers recorded into one accursed grimoire. Thought destroyed along with its mistress falling into legend. To this day there are still hushed whispers in the darker places of the world that claim the tome does still exist somewhere, waiting for all it's terrible contents to be unleashed on Evalaw once more.
This accursed book is fabled to be an ancient compendium of forbidden necromancy, written by the black queen herself. Its cursed pages are said to have every spell of the deathly arts scrawled within by Nefraijat's own hand, with many of the most terrifying and powerful spells lost to time can be found within. The book was itself was said to be a living thing, handed to Nefraijat as a gift from one of Aulreths Abyssal handmaidens when Nefraijat made her fabled journey into the underworld and unshackled the Morrlibthe. Opening the once sealed gateway to the Abyss and the afterlife, allowing such dreadful magic to pour fourth freely across Evalaw.   Phyraxgian necromantic traditions are believed to have originated from the contents of this fell tome as laid down by Nefraijat when she introduced the dark art to her people. If the stories are to be believed, the twisted lich ?? managed to get his hands on a roughly translated copy of part of the Grimoire, owing to his meteoric rise to prominence, establishing the lichdom of the Kermarch.   It's final resting place as told in Phyraxgian tradition is said to lay deep within the Necropolis' of Nekharah. Despite the legend, the custodians of the necropolis deny any knowledge of such a tomb existing. Nefraijat's final resting place has been something of a bone of contention amongst Phyraxgians for millennia, with numerous claims of where the real tomb of Nefraijat may actually be located.
