Attributes (Overview)

A character's attributes are divided into two categories. Avatar and Physique . The Avatar section represents the intangibles that make up the "soul" of the character while the Physique section represents all physical traits of the character. Attributes use a 10 based system with 5 being the human average while 1 (poor) and 10 (exceptional) are the extremes of the human condition. Values above 10 can occur in supernatural entities.

The Avatar traits are the following.

The Physique traits are the following.

Build Point System

All characters start with a 5 in every attribute. You can buy an attribute increase for 1 build point or gain a point by decreasing an attribute by a point. Attributes can't be lowered less than 1 or increased over 10. Starting build points should start somewhere between 12 (mortals) and 24 (super heroes) depending on the power level of your campaign.

Using XP Points

After character creation, attributes can be raised by spending XP points. 10 XP equals 1 attribute point.
