Ari The Golden

The Golden Aeirhiedeolth Da Annûn Díriel (a.k.a. Ari)

Aeirhiedolth or Ari for those she likes is a gargantuan golden dragon. She is over 2000 years old.
When Ari appears in her dragon form she is incredibly powerful and intimidating, upon closer inspection she is heavily scarred and large areas of her body are missing their scales, her back right leg is missing entirely. She moves about in her dragon form incredibly slowly and carefully.
Her other primary and preferred form is human, she appears to be a tall shapely elven woman, her right leg is missing and though she appears to be an elf her skin has wrinkles. Her skin is a golden brown with freckles of pure gold scattered across her skin. Her hair is pure white. Her eyes do not have pupils the iris is a swirl of many shades of gold. She stands tall despite her missing leg, she is incredibly imposing and regal. She wears white robes trimmed in gold. She holds a tall staff made entirely out of gold and wears a ring set with a large ruby on her left hand. Around her neck hangs a golden chain with an intricate symbol of Pelor hanging from it. When she moves she seems to glide and observant people will notice only one foot beneath her robes.
Ari is sworn to protect this extremely important cathedral to Pelor, she has been here for close to 600 years, she is somewhat out of touch with the politics of the world but she understands the magical energies of the natural world and notices any imbalances in the forces of magic or nature. She is sworn to protect this temple from any who might threaten it and will not leave it for any reason. Insightful people may realize that there is a very painful story that is associated with the reason for her oath. She will not reveal immediately that she is in fact a dragon.
