The Varsii

Not much is known about the Varsii that live in Versarna. The little information that is known comes from Varsii immigrants living in other Searic countries, and their testimonies are treated with scepticism, mirth or outright derision.

The Kingdom of Man

The humans that live in Versarna identify themselves as part of the Kingdom of Man.

Settlements

Versarna is a land dominated by a large, stifling forest. Settlements belonging to the Kingdom of Man tend to be on the coast of the Versarna, or limited to short distances into the forest. There are three main cities: Cenmenoc, Rosevear, and Gurlouen.
Most of the smaller settlements are the size of large villages; there are almost no settlements that could be described, in Saeric terms, as a town.
Settlements are surrounded by large walls regardless of their size, which are garrisoned by the Watch.
Roads between the settlements are patrolled by specially-trained military units, and are interspersed by large, raised shelters high up in the trees. This is alleged that riding in the night causes travellers to be targetted by the ceatures that inhabit the forest, and that the only way to effectively protect themselves from the dangers that lurk within.

Enemies Beyond the Walls

The Kingdom of Men considered their main adversities to be the mysterious Kingdom of the Fae. However, there are many dangers and creatures that live in the forest that do not owe their loyalty to the Kingdom of the Fae. These creatures and plants are claimed to be every bit as just as dangerous to the Varsii as the Fae, although it is claimed that they can also be captured and manipulated into attacking travellers and settlements.
