Ranger

Rangers are the keepers of the wilderness. They are experts on their local enviroment, and are tasked with managing the enviroment to increase yields, keep populations in check, and maintain the ecosystems. Despite the value added by rangers, their work is often gone unnoticed, the abundance attributed to nature itself.
Most are skilled survivalists, with an indepth knowledge of wortcraft and local folklore.

Qualification

Rangers usually apprentice with another ranger, but some are taught in institutions. It can take decades to truly learn an enviroment and all the local flora and fauna. It is important that the Ranger is also on good terms with most sapient beings in their enviroment, it is a foolish ranger who disregards the knowledge of those who've lived all their life in the wild.
Many Rangers will seek out druids to learn more about beneficial magics, but a ranger doesn't need to be a spellcaster. A ranger does, however, need to be a capable fighter.
Rangers are encouraged to specialize, especially in enviroments maintained by multiple rangers.

Griffon Knights

The Griffon Knights are raised from a young age alongside their griffon companion, and are expert beastmasters. They are the pride of Viliers, and seen as the prime example of nature and civilisation working together.

Order of Ancient Vigil

The Order of Ancient Vigil, also known as The Vigil, is a knightly order associated with the Temple of the Twelve. They are dedicated to protecting the world from unnatural fey and fiends, and preserving the barrier between realms. The Order of Ancient Vigil have a couple rangers in their ranks.
