In the the Kingdom of Tepth the celebration of one birthday is celebrated yearly with more significance place on certain ages. The most significant birthday to be celebrated is the age of fifteen as this is when a person is considered to be an adult. At fifteen a person is capable of being drafted into the service of the kingdoms armies or as guards for the kingdoms variousĀ  cities and settlements.

There truly is no set formula for the celebration of someone's birth. Some families play jokes on each other while others pretend not to remember at all until the last moments of the day. Many people enjoy the company of all their friends and family while other just want to quietly celebrate with a handful of close family members. When the royal tour of the kingdom returns to Atepthilar the streets are filled as the city celebrates the return of the royal family and the birthday person with a massive celebration.   The celebration of nobility birthdays are similar to royalty except that the observance is usually contained to the lands they oversee. There have been exceptions to this through the years often occurring when a noble person is coming of the age to rule over the designated lands of their family.
