Vilgelm Sekspir's Apparatus (Veel-Helm Sehq-Speer Ap-Uh-Rey-Tuhs)

Every writer that has hopelessly stared at a blank piece of velum, pen in hand, praying to all the gods known and unknown for inspiration, has dreamt of owning Vilgelm Sekspir's Apparatus. Assuredly inspiration would shift to whomever possesses the same apparatus used to write the most enduring pieces of entertainment in the land?

For over one hundred and fifty cycles it was believed that Vilgelm Sekspir had used the same quill and papyrus scroll to write the first draft of his five most enduring works of literature: Rogibo and Janibet, Aymer V, Raynald III, Oriold and the one that is only whispered: Maekbat.

Due to constant rumors about the existence of the Apparatus, the Coalition of the Arts recruited Hadwick, the most honored Vilgelm Sekspir historian, to investigate each and every one. Traveling throughout Steeghan, Hadwick visited every inn, attic and basement where Vilgelm Sekspir's Apparatus was rumored to be. At every location he was shown quill and scroll and most were easily dismissed as counterfactual. The amount of jeweled encrusted quills and modern vellum sheets or bound books Hadwick was shown, "Could easily equal the stars in the sky." He would later say.

The handful of items that could not be discounted at first glance took more study. After close to one cycle of study, Hadwick brought a simple quill with a cracked nib and a simple looking discolored scroll, found by happenstance in an estate sale, back to the C.o.t.A. with his seal of authenticity.

Vilgelm Sekspir's Apparatus can be seen by anyone, writer or not, that is willing to travel to Shemuford, find hidden among all the bewilderment a small museum, and is willing to exchange a silver coin for a quick glimpse.
