The First Greeting of Manorossa

Long before she became a goddess, Manorossa was but a poor teen living on the streets. She was taken in by a kindly family, only for them to all end up back on the street when their houses were bought up by the Zapatero family.   Manorossa, furious at the fate dealt to those who had been so kind to her, joined with the local gangs and criminals, there learning the rogue's trade. She participated in many raids, heists and schemes, until she had finally gained experience, allies and ressources. And then she struck, breaking into the deepest vaults of the Zapatero family. But she wasn't satisfied just stealing from them. She wanted them to know why she was targeting them, leaving behind a sternly written letter, warning them that they and all of their ilk would receive a visit from her.   The letter was used as a piece of evidence as the guards went on a manhunt to catch her, never succeeding. Manorossa would continue to leave letters like the first, all the way up to her deification. Afterwards, many of her followers would copy her style. It became a way to inform the usually untouchable nobles that what they were dealing with wasn't simple theft made out of greed. It was retribution for their crimes, which would never be addressed in the courts that so favored them. That the people they stepped on would take their revenge one coin at the time and that they would never let them forget what they did to earn such a visit.     Devoted followers eventually succeded in stealing the original letter from the Zapatero family so it could be properly enshrined in a place sacred to the Red-Handed Rogue.

Purpose

The purpose was the further humiliate the Zapatero family, but also call them out on their unjust actions.
