The Infinite Axes
The Infinite Axes are a highly specialized elite shock force in the Arazar military. They are highly renowned for turning the tide in critical war scenarios. Since they are such an elite force they are always moving from battle to battle saving the day. There are currently 3 deployments of The Infinite Axes.
Composition
Manpower
Each deployment of The Infinite Axes consists of 2000 soldiers plus 500 supporting staff.
Equipment
The soldiers are outfitted with Mithral Full-Plate armor, basic survival and medical equipment, and some emergency rations. The Infinite Axes have a caravan of cooks, hunters, gatherers, doctors, and spellcasters that travel with them.
Weaponry
Each soldier carries 3 battleaxes, 10 handaxes, and 1 greataxe.
Vehicles
The primary assault vehicle used by The Infinite Axes is the Linebreaker, it is capable of breaking through most enemy front lines allowing The Infinite Axes to cause complete chaos in battle. Each Linebreaker holds a contingent of 25 soldiers and deploys into a defensible structure once it has broken through the enemy line.
Tactics
When faced off with a seemingly unbreakable defense The Infinite Axes begin with their common tactic of using the Linebreaker to get to the middle of the enemy lines, then they deploy the Linebreakers and wreak havoc from within. This is generally followed up by having a cavalry unit sweep the enemy while they're focused on managing The Infinite Axes.
Training
To become a member of The Infinite Axes you must complete the 15 year training program. This involves basic military training, a 5 year deployment following that. Then 5 years of additional training follow by another 5 years of deployment before you are then welcomed to join the ranks.
