The Raptor empires are an ancient civilization with generations of artworks and science, however they were alwaysed limited due to their talons and harsh writing/etching style. The Ink gauntlets fixed this.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The gauntlet has two parts a wide brush on the ring finger for erasing or broad painting and a thin brush on the fore finger for writing.

Significance

The ink gauntlets were a revolutionary invention for the Raptor species. Their invention allowed for parchments to be readily used, instead of the traditional stone tablets or more modern bamboo books. Raptors have long utilized a language based around scratching various lines into material, however this method is often destructive to parchment, severely limiting their ability to transcribe or annotate with the works of other races. The brushed gauntlet allows for the raptors to gently write and paint upon delicate materials.
Due to the higher material cost of raptor writing materials caused many disconnect in international communications. With the creation of a writing gauntlet, not only has there been a sharp increase in diplomatic talks with the raptors, the raptors have made increasing social progress in regards to their non raptor subjects. However, it should be noted that such projects are miger, since many second class citizens are mere chattel for their raptor overlords.
