High Kharmian
High Kharmian is a long lost language, that is at the base of the modern Kharmian and Ahrmur, that was commonly used in the Akharmur Empire until is sudden decline due to the conflagration. At the present day, only theories exist about the pronunciation and the grammar of this old language. Furthermore the scholars using the two derived languages differ very much in their interpretation in function of the different evolution, creating a further historical fracture between these two people. The few scholars that have left behind ethnical partisanship and have tried to search for the few example of written High Kharmian available in the present times, have discovered that both the languages derived are very different from the original one, because in the dark years that followed the Great War of the Mages only clerics used to speak High Kharmian, while commoners would speak a bizzare mix between local slang and High Kharmian.
Geographical Distribution
The geographic area of distribution of High Kharmian has been massively influenced by the cataclisms that have altered the aspect of the continent, transforming it in the modern days Phaldorya. The Akharmur Empire used to extend north in the area of the Free Principate of Hörburg and east in the territory southern to the internal sea that would eventually become the Arquir Desert.
Virken aft laerit sup(damaged) aptaric
This sentence gets commonly translated as "The queen crowned sat on her throne" but this interpretation has been disputed often.
I Like it, really does feel like it has been "Lost" so I'd say it works. and you even included how it changed over time and why people can't understand it now despite their efforts. All in all, I'd say this is a good article if a little short :)
Thank you for the support... I have changed the CSS with the hover on the panel to make it easier to read. Let me know if it works well.
