The Queen's Guard is here to serve Queen Gwenaria Silverstave, Tirfalon, and the citizens of Octiragrin. The guard is organized into eight brigades corresponding to the eight sectors of Tirfalon. Each brigade is designated by colored bands around the collars and cuffs of their navy blue uniform tunics.

The Guard is formed of citizens who wish to serve their Queeen and city. The requirements for service are a valid Octiragrin Citizenship Certificate (OCC) and completeion of the Guard Training Course. The course is provided by the Weapons Master at Octischolarus Magus. If the trainee has magic, he/she will also receive training through the Battle Branch at the School.

Structure

The Chief is the top of the command structure. Below him are eight Commanders that supervise 50 Guardsmen or Guards in five 10-man sqods.

History

Queen Gwenaria Silverstave established the Queen's Guard as soon as she became Queen. The Guard is made up of loyal subjects whose desire is to make Tirfalon a safe and productive place to live and govern.
