Infant Magic Syndrome Condition in Octisafell | World Anvil
Welcome to Octisafell!

Infant Magic Syndrome

Infant Magic Syndrome is a rampant disease on Octisafell. Nine in ten people are subject to it at or before birth. The origin is unknown but it is thought by historians that it started when Luxaz began his work corrupting the species. While not all people get it, enough do that it has seriously limited magic users in the world. As of 1986 AG the condition has been mostly eradicated due to a discovery bye the healing mages at Octischolarus Magus.

Now, healing mages are sent out to every village and city to do clinics to provide prevention and cures. If a healer is not present, a journey can be taken to Tirfalon or a message can be sent to Octischolarus Magus to request a healer visit if travel is impossible.
