The Gale Spear Item in Magmoia | World Anvil

The Gale Spear

The Gale spear is an ancient spear said to be gifted to the Ukari people by Zelemir the Magante of wind and air at the beginning of time. The Spear is made from the red back of the Rohodo tree and the spear tip itself is a large diamond piece with incredibly sharp edges. The weapon is said to have been made By Zelemir as a sign of strength for the race of the Ukari to guide them into the future.   The weapon has been passed down throughout the generations, one leader to the next as a symbol of the favor that the magnate bestowed upon them. The Spear while being a formidable weapon is also said to stir with the great winds and a slash of the blade could send a warrior off his feet with a blast of air.   No one knows how old the spear is but if the tales are true it has been around since the first day of the first age nearly 3,000 years ago.   Current Wielder of the Gale Spear: The Great House of Iluvilar the current ruling house in the Kingdom of the Ukari.   Description:   The spear is nearly 6 ft long with a bright red shaft made from the heart of a Rohdo tree giving the shaft a great deal of flexibility and strength as the trees are subjected to massive winds storms that strengthen their fibers. The spear tip itself is said to be made from a Massive chunk of diamond that was cut and shaped by Zelemir even before the formation of Magmoia on the Eternal Realm of Urodar the homeworld of the Elemental Magnates.   History:   During the invasion from the Blood Elves to the North that ultimately pushed the Ukari south into the caldera of Mt Vulmar an ancient King of the Ukari was able to harness the power of the staff like none other before to save his people from an inevitable annihilation. As the Blood elves closed in on the retreating Ukari the king stood his ground alone in the face of an invading army. He bowed on the ground and asked for the Magnate Zelemir to grace him with the power of the wind to drive these foul invaders back. As he stood and opened his eyes he could see the army closing in on him he lifted the spear into the air and felt a gush of wind behind him that let him know his words did not fall upon deaf ears. As the spear came crashing down to the ground slicing the air in front of him the air split and drove out in a furious gust in front of the king. The wind raced out in front of him like blade and cut through the entire army in front of him with a ferocity that could not be explained. The wind sliced through the invading forces shredding them into pieces and throwing them back into their remaining forces. Upon seeing their comrades torn into pieces with a single slice of the ancient spear the remaining invaders turned and ran as fast as they could back into the northern swamps and marshes of Zurrican leaving the Ukari to flee into the south.
