Last Service Guild
Structure
The guild is mostly comprised of the standard "Condensers," the individuals tasked with spending each subjects dying moments by their side. The Condensers are responsible for providing the subject comfort in their final moments, then donning their protective equipment and performing the liquefaction process by which Condensed Spark is harvested. Condensers answer to "Condenser Division Leads" who in turn answer to the office of The Last Servant, who is responsible for managing and documenting operations all across Kijarro.
Public Agenda
It is the duty of the Last Service Guild to see to assist the dying in their final moments and to harvest the remainder of their subject's life force in the moments after their death to turn into Condensed Spark.
History
The Last Service Guild is an organization located in Kijarro that is closely tied to the government of the city state. The guild was started by it's current leader Wamuri in the year 93 BBA, after years of poverty thanks to Kijarro's reliance on a failing slave economy. After decades of research, Wamuri had discovered a new, miraculous material, Condensed Spark, and a reliable method to create it. On the back of her arcane discovery Wamuri created the Last Service Guild and an entire new potion making industry in her home city state.
The Last Service Guild revolutionized Kijarro's failing economy and allowed social pressures to do away with the practice of slavery to finally overcome the financial incentive to keep it. An entire new artisanal class of alchemists was created and the practice of creating Kaisha for national defense became viable for the first time in centuries. Kijarro, the Kijarrish people, and the Last Service Guild have flourished in the past century thanks to Wamuri's discovery and Kijarrish potions are highly sought after all across Jeharr.
