Neamahn (Nay-MA-n)

"Easy Terra...You've watched Master Pierre do this before with his own stuff." An earth pixie--a blur of red-brown light to others-- muttered to herself. She had a quartz placed in a vice and was currently fluttering around it to inspect it, a trail of nearly hair-thin wire in her grasp following behind. "He told me to let the gem speak to me...I don't hear anything...! Maybe I'm not ready to do this yet." She fluttered back down to the table, letting the wire go to sit criss-cross with her elbows on her legs and her head resting on her hands. "Everyone else makes this look easy..."

Brief

The Neamahn Silvertongue for 'Maker' are a group of pixies that live within Rosevale. The Fae offshoots are known to travel and stay in groups, often co-existing with other species in a symbiotic relationship. This group is not any different. They take refuge with the citizens of this town and in return for the townsfolks protection, they use their skills to create works of art that aid in supporting them.

Coveted Wares

The Neamahn are skilled crafters due to their execptionally small hands. They are capable of crafting works of wire-wrapping and pieces of artisan jewelry, trained through the generations. It is likely that the skill originated by watching other humanoid species, and then began to work on their own where they have developed their own techniques and unique style.

Culture

Common Etiquette rules

Like all pixies the Neamahn are no different with their trickster-like nature. This is reflected in how they do deals with outsiders as well as simply interacting with anyone that is not native to Rosevale. Word play is employed often between pixies and other species, and one must be careful to avoid accidentally insulting them.

When attempting to buy their goods, it is incredibly important to play along and follow their lead. A silver tongue and charisma are impressive to them, as is a skilled pair of hands. Craftsmen typically have their respect and have more luck interacting with them.

Aw, the art is super cute. This was a delightful article and I love the idea of fae craftsmen who are still trickster in nature.

Thank you! They're cute, but if you aren't careful you'll get into a world of trouble!! I wanted to keep the trickster aspect since they're still dangerous even if helpful : )
