This language is one of the most secretive of Isekai, few have heard it spoken and the script is difficult to learn because of how unwilling the native speakers are to grant knowledge of the language. Speakers of this language are primarily
Djinn and on rare occasions a knowledgeable spellcaster or a
Majinn that was accepted into the culture of their parent's race. The script for Djinn uses symbols that seem to be naturally imbued with arcane power and they can be used to express complex magic in a much more simplistic manner to the point that a short word could express the idea of a high-level spell.
The earliest appearance of this language is traced back to the appearance of the
Djinn and is said to be a creation of the god
Olik that he used to pass on the secrets of all magic to his children. The Djinn language is a closely guarded secret by its native speakers because it is said to contain latent power that allows the user to more readily harness and understand the existence of magic at large. Members of the
Djinn race use this language to record the many spells of the world and the secrets of how to cast spells beyond the very high levels of magic that are normally reserved for demi-gods and above. This language can be sparsely found on ancient ruins on the
Southern Continent where it is rumored that a civilization ruled by the
Djinn and composed of many different beings existed. However, this is largely thought to be a myth as almost nothing exists to substantiate the existence of such a civilization.
The advantages of knowing this language would be trivial and almost inconsequential to a common person but to a historian or a spellcaster, they would unlock secrets that the
Sphinxes and
Dragons have refused to record as part of history. For those that wish to learn magic that has been lost to time or written off by various spellcasters as far too dangerous, they may find that this is a prerequisite for learning those spells. If a speaker were to try and converse to a
Djinn in this language one of two things would be the likely outcome, the first would be that the
Djinn would greatly wish to know how you came to know their language and the second would likely follow as they used their extreme expertise in magic to wipe the knowledge of their language from your mind.
Don't speak to a Djinn in Djinn if you want to keep the knowledge - got it. XD
