Eatherium

18th of Loni, 1723rd Cycle of the Chath   We've finally been able to retain a sample of the silvery material that can be found between the deeper layers of the labyrinth. Though this material seems to dissipate within hours of leaving the environment of the labyrinth, recent developments from the Zauber district have allowed enchanted vials and other vessels to maintain the material for a time. This opens new avenues of investigation as to the origins of the Labyrinth, as well as potential uses of the material.   Chief among these potential uses is a potion, which has been dubbed Eatherium. This potion seems to, at least temporarily, alleviate the symptoms of Delver's Syndrome. However the long term effects of the potion are not yet known, and it does not seem to cure the disease. Add to that the effects of the potion on those without the syndrome is inconclusive.   A sample of the Eatherium has been sent off to House of Erithus for further testing by the Weise there.
