The jafa constellation isn't a death trap. Those are just old pilot's tales! Modern nanimals aren't going to just drop dead whatever folks say.

There is a constellation located just deosil of Second Earth that is feared and avoided by most pilots in the cosmos. Although going through the constellation would be much faster in almost every circumstance, there are hardly any pilots that are willing to fly through.
The old pilot's tales suggest that Jafa is deadly to Nanimal . Any pilot bold enough to fly through will suffer the sudden death of all nanimals and the inevitable break down in their systems leading to them floating aimlessly through the void of space.
Every few decades some young flykid will take a dare to fly into Jafa. Reports that their ships grind to a standstill are likely exaggerated, but have been consistent. There is a tow ship specific to the Jafa constellation from the before days that doesn't use nanimals, but surely that's a coincidence?

All readings show that there is abundant fuel and a green category atmosphere on the planets within the constellation, but nobody has dared to report on any explorations that have occured.
