Purpose / Function

The Purpose of the Apothic was to provide a safe haven for those sick and injured. For a while it operated as a world -renown 'hospital' before technology started to make this supposed magic more available. To this day many still t ravel here, and the Apothic has become a white-magic school to boot. Healers are trained and taught here, to be dispatched to the world on Mercy Missions. Mostly to the pirate-ravaged islands of the land's western coast.   Over the years the building had grown in size, and has a very large open air-pool that is slightly heated and infused with floral infusions. The water is taken right from lake O'Shea. On top of medical reasons, the place has also become a destination for honeymoons to partake in their Floral Pools.   In the end the building's sole purpose is to offer healing to those who can not find it elsewhere. The place is also a destination for last resort options with those who are terminally ill.
