The Stream

Stream is a loose databank centralized in Fallen mountain and its branches are used to communicate through the world. Stellarch, whispers to peoples minds through the stream.
It came to be unexpectedly and unconsciously in the Throne. Yet once the Throne fell, it went haywire, the residue was scattered around the world and had devastating effects to the people.
Stellarch, started to mentally reaching to the scattered pieces of stream and binded them all together to create whats known as ''Great Calm''.
It used extremely advanced methods to do;
The Roots: One of the reason Stream was scattered was the death of the Royal Proteans. Energy of the living acts as a place which stream can grow and Stream must grow or it poisons. Stellarch's roots, which surrounds the world, acted as a place which roots could hold on to.
The Pillars: Usage of the Stream by Royal Proteans, naturally stopped it from getting posionous and to cause dangerous effects(Like sudden violent rages, mentaly induced diseases vice versa). Stellarch solution to this problem was Pillars. They acted like cement mixers, delaying it to harden before reaching where its needed. Their poisoned minds were easier to control because of them being poisoned.
The Masters: Masters inception was partially Stellarch's work. It spoke to the minds of some expert alchemists and skilled people, so they could do some works which contributed the taking controll of the Stream. Like because of Masters(Who were directed by Stellarch), the Throne was collapsed into the Fallen mountain or the roots grow much faster than it normally would. The works of Masters had some more unexpected results(like etheral garden) but most of them were extremely healthy for the world and the nature of Stream(But unhealty for Law Of Alchemy).
Stream has a strange relation with the living and time. It can fade with time but its effects echoes through time. Meaning, someone from the future with well suited physiology might connect with the stream. Also, being scattered didn't reseted its original places, meaning there always was something left behind(Like Barq'alla or Fallen Mountain).
Stream might not feel like a writing tool, but it actually is. This kinda speaks about the perception of World of Equine. Writing was different because tangibility was different. In our world order, unless one have a tangible work of writing, they can't be considered a writer. But in Equine, thoughs and emotions could always reach into someones mind and not knowing who wrote what, was the result of a bond between various people. Writing in a piece of paper and sharings what's written was more about character and identity. Sharing an idea, a story, a world, a philosophy was about communicating with deeper and more complex thoughs with the help of a tangible muse like(Stellarch) creature.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

It is like the internet. It records experiences, thoughs, emotions... But unlike internet, accessing is much more intuitive and hard to define.
If one accesses it, it is perceived in a way most comfortable to their minds, data retreived from it acts like an organic feeling which one experiences to the extent of their make and it remains in their minds for a long time. It can give you the information you need automaticly or can alter your thoughts faster by making you experience years in shorter durations of time. It is impossible to remove an information from it.
One has to stand close to its origin in order to acess it. Stellarch uses a part of the stream in order to effect the world, yet it is consciously limited to evade somethings to reach to the minds of people. Like rages and sufferings.
Royal Proteans mind is best adapted to experience stream without any side effects. Others could experience it with some limitations. However, it might get overwhelming to ones mind and madden them if they were to enter places where it is the most active, like fallen mountain...

Manufacturing process

A Royal Protean perceives more than it can process. If the unprocessed residue of information accumulates, it results in a stream of unprocessed invisible information which one could process or organize in order to experience them.

Significance

It allowed Royal Proteans to share each others most complex emotions and thoughs in its entirety. It caused people around the world to go berserk once it went haywire and indirectly resulted in pillars. It is the only tool which one in modern world of Equine could access information about Royal Proteans.
