Shar Mascs

The Mascish Tern Shar that guard Tosvree Bas. During the initial Tern Bas revolt Tosvree saved a Tern Shar tribe and in return some of their warriors offered to join the revolt. Now over 70 days later as the armed conflict turned into guerilla warfare, the Shar Mascs have continued to guard Tosvree and many young Tern Shar come to volunteer and prove there worth as body guards.

Composition

Weaponry

The Mascs prefer to go lightly and dislike riding Shardreck. They will often follow Tosvree on foot only taking ocasional breaks on Shardrecks. They are armed with one pistol gonne and a Hantex. They carry a curved sword and a small metal shield. They perfer to go lightly armored wearing cloth layers that protect them from the cold, or light flowing clothes in the hot day.

Tactics

The Gaurd prefers light fast tatics. When gaurding Tosvree a few members stay near by and many other members scout a head of the travelling party looking for dangers and ambushes. When engaging in raids, they prefer to set devasating ambushes at night using thier Hantex to rapidly rain down a hail of stones, then disappearing into the darkness. While they don't ride Shardreck and thus can't move as fast, they travel light and seperate into the thick grasses and woody vegatation hiding until it is safe to emerge.

History

The Shar Mascs started out as a few Mascish who pledged themselves to Tosvree after he saved their tribe. Tosvree agreed that the real threat to the Tern Bas was the settled Yenarians, and thus declared that the Tern Shar should be allowed back onto the Plains of Tern. This statement meant many Tern Shar tribes joined him in the revolt, and it also increased the appeal of the Mascs. The guards became a prestigious organization for young mascish Tern Shar to pledge themselves to.
