Divine Healing
Due to the fall of Melia, a raelori whose domain is over healing, diving healing was long unavailable to the people of Corvisia. But with her return, this ability has been restored and clerics have begun to rediscover ancient magic that heals others to a miraculous degree. These healing techniques can sometimes be taxing on both the caster and the target, and often require expensive resources as components, so divine healing is not widely available. But if one can afford it, it is capable of healing to a degree that was previously thought to be impossible.
Access & Availability
Divine healing is often quite expensive, as a result of the necessary materials being fairly rare, and so it is not realistically accessible to everyone. Most clerics usually also have only a small supply of the needed materials, again due to the rarity, so even for the wealthy it can be a luxury to receive this kind of treatment.
Complexity
Divine Healing is complex as, depending on the severity on the severity of the wounds, it can be very taxing on both the caster and the patient. It also often requires rare and expensive materials to be used as components and these are usually consumed in the casting of any divine healing, meaning that those who need to use any form of divine healing magic must replenish these supplies regularly.
Discovery
Divine healing was rediscovered when Melia returned to Corvisia and chose an everlight, a new individual to carry the title of those who are leaders in her worship. This new everlight was trained by the first everlight, Sarenrae, and then instructed to spread it to the rest of Corvisia as she attempts to restore Melia's worship to its former glory.
