Of all the places I have been I don't think I have seen anything as wonderful as the Dragon Coral Reef. The way it shimmers in the sunlight at dawn is remarkable, but doesn't compare to the sparkling when the sun is at its zenith. The ghostly essence of when the light from Gautama strikes is enchanting, but the light from CiarĂ¡ is mesmerising.
The crystal clear waters of the cove are warm and refreshing. The creatures of the cove and well I should say lagoon are a marvel to see.
I have spent three days here enjoying the fabulous weather and the surroundings. Exploring the beach I found several hollowed out stones lined with coloured glass. On my second day I say a gorgeous dragon land on the beach, their rose and gold scales glistening in the sunlight. I watched as they went from tidal pool to tidal pool gathering up the crablike creatures within them. They dropped them into a pot of water and breathed fire over the pot. When they pulled the creatures out of the pot the colours were more vibrant than when they went in. They offered me some of the meat and I must admit I had never tasted anything like it. The meat just melted in my mouth and left a slight lemony aftertaste which was very pleasant. With the meat removed from the hard shells my friend the dragon began to crush the shells into a fine powder. Then they placed beach sand and the shell powder into one of the stones and again breathed fire. The heat from the fire was intense and made me dive into the water for respite.
After a while they extracted what looked like a large ball of liquid glass. They used a metal pole to retrieve it and swung it around until the glass cooled. The colour of the glass was a deep rich azure blue the likes I had never seen before. I wish I had been able to approach and ask about it but the area was still to hot for me to do so. Once the glass seemed cool enough the dragon took to the sky carrying its treasure.
I have yet to reach the dragon cities but I am hoping to in the near future. I would love to see what becomes of that beautiful glass.
