Prompt 13: Deminor BIrthday Rites

The deminor tend to celebrate their birthdays with family and friends. They act as support to the deminor who has survived another year in the harsh world. Every deminor will pay respects to the great spirits that watch over them, before taking part in some form of physical activity. Mainly focused on what they value in life.
Warriors spar with others to show off the strength they gained over the years.
Shamans will spend time communing with nature trying to become more at one with it.
While hunters try to prove themselves by going against the strongest beast they can find.
All to prove one's strength and place to their people.
Those with out a place tend to spend their time alone focusing on what they must do to belong.

History

The rites of the birthday that the deminor follow were first established by Talion. Who felt one should spend time on such a day by the side of those they call family or kin. That they must also show off to those they care for how far they grown over the year by showing what they have learned. It is also a time where one is closer to the realm of spirits and should use this closeness to tank the spirits that watch over them.
These teachings have spread through out the years and have allowed many clans to bond over their special days.

Execution

One must first begin their day thanking the spirits that watch over them. This can be done by going to the different shrines that watch over one's village or by making a makeshift shrine to honor the guardian spirit of one's family.
The next stage is where you must do something that honors the skills you have learned. For warriors it's as simple as a spar with their master. To a shaman it could be bringing forth their primal self through meditation. While the hunter will hunt.
After the chance to prove one's skill it is also a chance for someone to spend a little time with someone special. Being their closest friend or someone they value more as a friend.
The final part is the big celebration where all their friends and family have a big feast together. Older deminors will also drink till they pass out. While younger tend to have to get some rest for the next day.
