Bellerose
Bellerose is a small village deep in the Dagdan forest and is surprisingly notorious for being so small. It was founded by Ceriavis as a way for her to be able to use her magic freely to encourage others to fulfill their desires and love who they choose.
While the initial idea behind Bellerose started off as something anyone might want, the actual history is a little darker. Ceriavis went into different towns around Ismena and lured away those who had just recently grown into adulthood and were without families to come stay with her. When there were enough people with her to create a working village, she began to spread rumors of a pleasure town located deep in the woods where only those of pure intent could find it. Those that came to the village would find those who lived there would do everything in their power to fulfill the desires and wishes they had and often, visitors would be drawn in and decide to stay as well.
Today, Bellerose is a thriving place and many people from all over Casimira go there to enjoy freedom from rules and a chance to be in a place where love is always appreciated and nearly always returned in kind. The one rule they have there is this: as long as no harm is done to another, all love and all desire is worth celebrating.
Over the years, the Mage Council has tried many times to find the village or any of the people who live there and have failed every time. No one knows why the Dagdan trees have chosen to protect this place, but no one with the intent to destroy or harm can find it in the woods, nor can anyone who has been there describe how they got there or found the place. They can go back, of course, but even when trying to follow them, the mage council has found themselves nearly lost.
