Appearance

Moziath Gathakagoni (Windwalker clan) was tall, even for an Altaran, at 7'10", but was reportedly quite spindly for his species - he is often referred to in texts by his nickname "willowman" in reference to his long thin appendages.
He was pale for his race too being closer to human-side in skintone rather than the brown tones of the Giantkin they also supposedly descend from, but his hair never turned grey, staying light brown for the entirety of his 79 years.
Moziath retained some his 'civilised' possessions upon his return to the Circle, often requesting replacement vests from nearby towns' tailors when his wore out.

History

During the War

Moziath was one of the Ancestral Druids who were turned by Vaedrin during the corruption of the The Ancestral Tree. He was restored, along with all his kind, apart from the then Elder Thanoth 'Nightcarver' Gathakanaki when the Tree was cleansed.

Following the War

After the War, the legend of the Ancestral Tree was re-affirmed in society. The tree, having resisted being fully corrupted by Vaedrin's Blight was accepted as being the divine present of Athar & Zarene as per legend. Moziath put forward the idea to the Circle of the Ancestors that they should have a presence in wider society to prevent doubt ever reoccurring.
Moziath's initiative was accepted and he became the first Ancestral Ambassador, taking residence in Brinewatch for over two decades before returning back to the Ancestral Grove to take up the role of Ancestral Elder until his death.

Legacy

To this day, the role of Ancestral Ambassador continues, typically taken up by younger Archdruids within the Circle of the Ancestors. Ambassadors can now be found in cities across the world even as far as Ialos and Anzhoun, for example.
