Description and area of occurrence

There is a ring around Mount Turgla just near the place where Turgla pulse ends its influence. This ring is where the lost souls are rumored to wander. This ring is formed primarily by vegetation, which appears to be dense, but closer inspection reveals it to be easily traversable during the day. This vegetation, however easily traversable sometimes feels like forming an elaborate maze.
At that area, Raiders report seeing the Eyes in the darkness of night or the dense mists. Bright dots of various colors and shapes, following them around watching them as if judging their actions, decisions, and personality itself. When checked, nothing was found where they appeared. Except for the same Eyes to appear some distance away. It is therefore believed that the Eyes can lead naive or brave Raiders to great riches or certain death, as it has been reported numerous times, that Raiders were disappearing with a scream mere moments after Eyes appeared.

Various kinds and their behavior

The color of the eyes and their shape are misleading. As It has been proven that the only reliable indicator of the intent of these watchers are one's instinct and what feeling they feel emanating from the Eyes in question.
The Generous Eyes
Some Eyes feel warm, welcoming, friendly, and safe. But these are quite rare.
Following these usually lead Raiders to the still usable gear of the previous victim of the Eyes, which is always found next to corpses of their previous users. These Eyes sometimes even lead to naturally formed riches, like freshly formed crystals or corpses of monsters left in hurry by other predators.
The Judging Eyes
More dangerous are the Eyes that seem to be judging the passerby. As they rarely reward Raiders with riches. More importantly, if the judging Eyes witness something they don't like, they promptly turn to the Hungry Eyes.
It is not known what is triggering the Judging Eyes, as the experience and reports vary. Some believe they want the Raiders to be the best they can be, others are saying they want Raiders to be only the worst of the worst. Those who find themselves desperate and scared usually joke, that being true to themselves will probably be better, than trying to impress some ghostly Eyes
The Hungry Eyes
The mere presence of hungry Eyes is enough to paralyze unprepared and unsuspecting Raiders. When these Eyes appear one can feel their muscles being tugged as if they were to be torn apart. Listening to the muscles and running away from the Hungry Eyes only leads to one's demise.
These Eyes scare their target into running away from them, directly to a naturally occurring trap, that could be easily avoided during the day. Those who decided to instead brave the darkness and face them head-on were instead lead to the very same traps. Some decided to stay calm and wait for it all to end. Just to experience the Eyes shifting and meet the worst kind of the Eyes.
The Eyes of Dead
These malicious, threatening and raging Eyes are the kind that can cause physical harm. The unlucky ones who felt their presence said that it felt as if the heat itself ceased to be. As if their body knew it is over and started preparing to die. By the time their presence is felt it is usually too late to run as the body becomes so scared that necrosis starts all over the body. 
A group of Raiders can be saved by leaving behind one of their own. But the amount of time they get to run is equal to how long the sacrificed one manages to stay alive. Hence leaving behind the weakest result in the lowest amount of time as these are rarely able to survive for long.

Experience of the generous Eyes

The Generous Eyes are the dream jackpot of every Raider, as many believe that they can get rich by finding them. It is however not the Raiders finding the Eyes, but the Eyes finding them. This never stopped the bold and desperate to seek shortcuts to their goals in one of the deadliest areas on Atocitera.

One mistake.
One mistake was all I knew I was allowed to make.
And deep in my bones, I knew.
That one mistake was coming there.

Experience of the Judging Eyes

Those who met the Judging Eyes knew they were on their own, they had to prove to themselves and to their audience that they have what it takes to achieve their goals. As many of those who came seeking the Generous Eyes met the Judging ones instead, they knew very well that no more missteps would be tolerated.
Those who made it away after making such fatal decision as seeking generosity of the Eyes were changed. They remembered the near-death experience and strived to improve themselves.
Few even swear that they still can feel the cold judging presence in the darkness of night, even after getting away alive.

Not only I felt like my muscles were being eaten as I stood there completely frozen by fear.
It was this fear that literally started killing me when the scream of my friend brought me back to reality.
As I ran I knew he won't make it, but I might. And I did.
Five of us entered but only three of us made it away that night.
And then we ran into these flying blenders...

Effect of the Hungry Eyes and the Eyes of Death is enough to send shivers through even the most experienced veterans. Like that, the ring where the Eyes are known to appear is bordering on becoming a forbidden area. Because it does not matter how many are sent, the Eyes will process the numbers easily.
For some time, Planners were thinking about finding how these Eyes are forming, as their effect could be very good at hunting smaller beasts all around Atocitera in whole packs.
Those who were sent to investigate this possibility started screaming mere moments after entering the ring.
And they were never found.
