Herbal Potions

"How many do we have? Of the potions I mean." Dr. Sahur-Ramene's twin heads snarled at the nurses that approached the dying Horridus Sin-Rah had brought in.
"I believe we have three or four left, but those are extremely rare and still experimental Sahur-Ramene." The Berus nurse, Jakyln said, handing Sahur-Ramene a small knife.
"Bring me one. Time to figure out if these potions the Quetzls gave us actually work." Sahur-Ramene cut open the Horridus's desert garb and broke the arrow shaft that pierced its chest, "Now would be nice!"
"I'm coming!" Jaklyn handed Sahur-Ramene the small vial of greenish-yellow liquid, "Here you go. Hope this works."
"It will. It has to." Sahur-Ramene opened the Horridus's scaled mouth open, the large fangs flared out before they were pushed back in with the vial, "Drink up. You're our first test."
A moment went by as the liquid emptied from the vial. The doctor and nurses stood on stand by with their Venomous Sorccery to heal the Cracked Clutch patient. The arrow was pulled out from the patient's back as the greenish-yellow hue of the liquid washed over it and sealed the hole. Sahur-Ramene looked in awe as the Horridus had been healed of the wound it had sustained.
"I-I-It worked." The gold head Ramene studdered while Sahur only analyzed the effect it had, hoping to see if the formula actually worked. In that careful moment of silence from the Sseth'kal, the Horridus coughed up blood.
"Water!" It screamed, the potion had worked. It was a miracle.

Utility

The Potions are used for only three purposes: Healing, Restoration of Venom, and Arcane Power Restoration.

Healing Potions

The Healing Potions are used for a medical purpose for when the Sseth'kal's Venomous Healing isn't working or is being rejected by some purpose. Another way that these potions would be used is if the Sseth'kal can't use Venomous Healing, this is fairly common for Sseth'kal to not be able to have this inherit trait. Having Venomous Healing is uncommon in Sseth'kal communities.
When this happens with a Sseth'kal, a Healing Potion would be administered, but like as said above, they are not yet available to the massive majority of the common folk and so the Venomous Sorccery of the doctors that do know how to use Venomous Healing are their best bets of survival.
Greenish-yellow water based liquid inside the container it's stored in.
The expiration date for the Healing Potion is two to three seasons, on average. After the expiration has passed, the greenish-yellow tone will turn to a bright white and will make it as useful as water. Good hydration in some cases.

Venomous Restoration Potions

The Venomous Restoration Potions are used when a Sseth'kal is low on Venom, giving the a boost in their natural resevoir, allowing them to continue to use Venomous Sorccery, if the Sseth'kal are lucky to know how to use it.
The color for this potions is a lighter copper syrup within the container in question.
The time of effective use after brewing is one year, after this time the copper color begins to spoil turning into a darker brown. This makes it highly toxic to anything that is injected, cut, or spat on with this.

Mana Recovery Potions

Mana Recovery Potions are a special type of Potions that are used only, or those who know how to use Mana, with recovering their resevoir of mana within them selves as well. These potions work a lot like the Venomous Restoration Potions but instead of filling the Sseth'kal's Venom it instead refuels Mana.
This is mostly used with the Quetzl Sseth'kal Magi but can be used with any other Sentient Species that know how to use Mana.
The color of the Mana Recovery Potions is a violet-silvery syrup with the container that it's stored in. The "shelf-life" for these potions is up to three seasons after being brewed. Once it has passed the potion will be rendered useless and has no magical properties. It is not harmful, but it tastes really bad.
Access & Availability
The potions are few and rare only a few types of the potions exist but they are still experimental. Only the most important of the Sseth'kal, as well as the Temple of Tor'khan have access to it for research purposes.
Complexity
The Potions themselves are not complex, as they are brewed in the Alchemical ways the Quetzl Sseth'kal have found. Through the careful study of these Potions, most of them are completely useless, while there have not been any incidents of a fatal rection to the potions, but it does not mean it can't happen if not properly brewed.
Discovery
The first time the Herbal Potions were first discovered were by the Quetzl, in a alchemical experiment with the local plantlife on Tor'khan. The Quetzl Sseth'kal's name was Korax Featherdawn.
