The Golden Treatise

The Golden Treatise [formally Saint Bartelam's Discourse On Adar, the Weave, and the Soul] is a sacred text of the Anointed Order of Adar, second in importance only to the Enlightened Holy Doctrine of the Anointed Order of Adar to those initiated into the order.
This document is a meticulously recorded account of a public discourse held by Saint Bartelam and other notable religious figures in the dining room of a now nonexistent inn. This discourse was directly responsible for the creation of the Order, and as such is highly regarded among the members of the order.
The content of the discourse itself is quite varied, but largely focuses on the revelations Adar passed onto his disciple, Saint Bartelam, and how these revelations can be used to not only direct one's living, but also guide the world into a more prosperous future. After the seeds for the creation of the Order were sewn, the treatise was used as a sort of rulebook for those looking to become clergy, with Bartelam leading the way, helping those who wished to follow in his footsteps to obtain the knowledge that had been given to him.






While this inn no longer exists, the hill it stood upon is now located in the middle of the Ordenarium in the city of Palan.
