Nitrophoria

also known as Nitrogen Euphoria/Nitrogen Narcosis/Raptures of the deep. People suffering from this condition are narc'd (slang for 'under the influence/drugged/high). It's brought on by inhaling Nitrogen gas. This first effects higher functions such as judgment, reasoning, short-term memory, and concentration. You also experience euphoria like with alcohol intoxication. If you are exposed to it for too long you get oxygen deprived which can end in death.
Nitrogen gas can be bought in all of Aogua for very cheap to have fun at a party. It takes the place of beer and alcohol and is seen as normal and also legalized in most districts of City of Aogua. 
Like with alcohol you have to be a certain age to be allowed to buy it which also varies district to district and between species (depending on when they reach maturity).

Transmission & Vectors

Nitrophoria can be bought in balloons that you bite into and then inhale the content. Depending on your height and metabolism 4 to 11 balloons are common to party through a night. One ballon costs around 4 credits which makes Nitrophoria the cheapest way to get narc'd. >

It's a common drug that is taken at parties. Syreni don't classify it as dangerous even though death is a real possiblity and fatalities happen regularly. The destribution of Nitrophoria is allowed.
