These massive ships are considered to be the pinnacle of 'Ancient Ones' technology, but now lie in ruins along with everything else they built. The largest of these ships was believed to be big enough to hold two adult Regal Dragons when restrained as well as a ton of other, smaller cargo.
Most of the remaining air ships are found on the A.O.'s Homeland and Tamerea, however a couple can be found on the other continents, slowly being reclaimed by the wild lands. Many scholars have dreamed of being able to get these ships back up in the sky, however the shear amount of magic required has made this near impossible. Even if they were able to summon enough magic, the spells needed to start the ships are unknown.

These large ships rely on massive amounts of magic to lift into the sky and sail among the clouds.

History

These ships are what allowed the 'A.O. to leave A.O. Homeland and reach the near by continent of Tamerea. When the 'A.O.'s' ruled Tamerea they used these ships to transport goods, slaves, and themselves both around the continent and to the their homeland. By the time their society collapsed these ships had allowed them to visit most of the other continents of the world.
In recent times, 'The Descendents' have made it their goal to gain control of these ships, and return them to their former glory.

Significance

These ships are a treasure trove of items and info about the 'Ancient Ones', how they lived, and how they used magic. In fact a good portion of all knowledge of these long lost people come from their air ships.
