History
Originally based upon the seasons of the Dargani homeland, located much further south than the Empire's current capital. In it's beginning years, the number of days per season was irrelevant--village shamans would changed the season by decree based upon empirical evidence. The official numbers were later set by Empire astronomers. As the calendar no longer matches the land, and the original meanings of the seasons do not matter to the general public, the time slippage goes unmarked save to note “odd discrepancies” when comparing to the Nemotet Calendar.Details
