Welcome to the world of Zora! This campaign is staged on the star-touched world, a place where every soul has a deep connection with its own singular and personal star in the night sky. Where magic, strength and the very life force of a person comes from the relationship of the individual with their star. The game will be played in the southern coast of a great country known as the Altiplane of Ara , an enormous plateau that rises to almost 5km and is surrounded by the sea and hundreds of small islands. This Empire is the new superpower of the region and has a complex political structure with many noble houses competing for station and power. The southern coast is known as The Waterfall Coast, the only place in the Empire with lower elevation, and filled with luscious jungle and fertile fields that are washed over by dozens of rivers and adorned by beautiful giant waterfalls. Many religions are followed in this world, the most popular being ‘The Way of the Zodiac’. Which follows the twelves gods reflected by the constellations that are common knowledge to us in Earth, but other small constellations shape the gods that are worshipped in the distant lands. You are soon to be arriving to The Waterfall Coast by way of a small ship, ‘The Invulnerable Vagrant’, fast and agile; this corvette has seen many encounters with both pirates and the law. What is your reason to be on this ship, used by both smugglers and thieves or men of purpose in a hurry? What do you plan to do when you arrive? Are you a human, half-elven, or Tiefling; the races that make the majority of the Altiplane? Or are you one of the other races that the people of the Empire see as lower and not ‘children of the stars’?
