Aryennos The Light Seer

A prophet of the Goddess Persea, the maiden Aryennos the Light Seer was born to a small family in a northern region that would one day become the country Astoydan. She was born to a humble family of farmers at a time when demons and dragons ruled the lands and barbarian incursions were commonplace. Because of how close she was located to the inhospitable regions of the north demons were the main overlords of her family's region. At the age of 10 she was struck by visions and her eyes glowed white and then became covered in a milky fog from that day forward. The visions she received were her destiny and instructions from the Goddess Persea. From that day forward Aryennos trained herself in secret to one day combat the demon overlords.
No one is certain for how long she spent training or how she managed to hide her abilities and such from the demons. Many scholars have speculated that while she may have been blinded from seeing the world around her as normal people do she was given an even greater form of sight beyond what is known to man allowing her to accomplish such a feat. What is known is that she resurfaced again at the expected age of 25 wielding a divine bow known as Golwg Ddwyfol.
With this bow she led an army in retaliation against the demonic overlords of her region slaying many and subduing others. After taking out the established leader of the region she turned her attention to the barbarians and put an end to their constant raiding. Then with both of these things done and peace accomplished she disappeared into the northern tundra. No one knows whether she went to fight other demons on their home domain or if she received one final vision from Persea guiding her to another task elsewhere.
