The badlands/ Deadman's trek

These badlands, known simply as "The badlands", are the result of extreme weather phenomena which have rendered the bumpy landscape inhabitable by humans and most other kinds of life, because of this and despite it's almost deadly conditions many Defects use this area as a place of refugee.
Camp Crik
Camp Crik is an area in the heart of the badlands where Defects have established a base, they make their homes in eroded caves which they reinforce with rock and Yogau wood structures and roofs. Most who reach this point are extremely damaged and it's only a matter of time before they become scrap for the other inhabitants.
The Caller Ways
Beneath the chaotic surface runs the caller ways, a series of interconnected tunnels that allow humans a supposedly safe passage through the lands. Many settlements have popped up within these tunnels, some completely disconnected from the outside world.

Natural Resources

Food is extremely sparse in this area, but a lucky survivor may scrape by by eating Yogau root and Burrow beatles. For fluids, Yogau fruit root can also be crushed for its juice and anyone lucky enough to have survived a storm or narrowly missed one may be able to find small puddles In crevices among the Hoodoos.   Where the weather has pushed and reshaped the land many jewel and ore deposits have become uncovered making it a tempting place, and for some it is worth the risk, but even those with their eyes set on its bounty would usually send in androids in their sted, though their return rate is low due to weather-related incidents and hunts from the Defects who trash these unaware androids for scrap parts.
