Zin

For the inhabitants of Zin, the world consists of a single chilly landmass, a couple of islands, an expanse of ice to the north, and everywhere else, vast ocean, wracked with storms. They crisscrossed the land with railroads, farmed the grasslands, mined the mountains, and built cities on the coasts. They filled pastures with sheep, trains with travellers, and libraries with books. It's not a very big world, but it's their world.

Without any foreign neighbors towards which to turn their hostility and unrest, the inhabitants of Zin turn on each other in subtle, insidious ways. None have been more of a target than the esoteric and dangerous neuromages. Fear can turn to hatred ever so quickly. But in the past few decades, attitudes have shifted. Technology has advanced. Perhaps everyone, mage and mundane alike, can learn to settle their differences and live together.
...unless someone, in a honest attempt to do good, shifts everything into darkness once more.
