Human Racial Feats

Sapphire Connection:   Prerequisites: Human Race, 'Sapphire Inheritors' Racial Trait   Effects: You gain another Kineticist utility talent of the element you chose in the 'Sapphire Inheritors' racial trait, whose level cannot exceed 1/2 your HD. This must be a Burn 0 utility talent.   Special: You may take this feat multiple times, taking a new Burn 0 Utility Wild Talent who meets the prerequisites listed above.   Honing their connection to their sapphire ancestors, many humans in their quest to carry on the legacy of the Sapphire Elves find themselves unlocking more secrets of the natural world and kinetic magic normally reserved for the likes of Kinetic Casters...while some, incredibly, even claim to hear the voices of the elements as only Kinetic Casters can.

Tyrant's Shroud:   Prerequisites: Human Race   Effects: Any detect spell or effect used on you(GM Discretion) produces an incorrect result. You are made aware of such effects and can return any value you wish instead of the true and accurate ones returned by the effect. You gain a +4 to resist all effects that would make you tell the truth.   Special: This feat count as a 'Ssarin' feat for the purposes of prerequisites.   Whether they can trace their lineages back to the legendary tyrant Cao Lu or somehow stumbled onto knowledge of such an ability that once belonged to the tyrant or one who was associated with him in some way, these humans are blessed with a tiny shard of the vile power once wielded by the legendary Tyrant Himself, able to mask their intentions and personal information from those who wish to discover either.

Ssarin Corrupted:   Prerequisites: Human Race   Effects: You may communicate empathetically with snakes and serpentine creatures(GM Discretion). You can imbue enough intelligence into these creatures to train them if they do not already have enough. By maintaining physical contact with an object no thicker than 1ft thick + 1ft thick per 2HD for one minute uninterrupted, you can see through it as if it werent there for as long as you maintain this contact.   Their eyes becoming reptilian and their skin breaking out with patches of ugly scales, these humans have blood that burns unnaturally strong with the vile taint of Cao Lu's ancient servants, the High Lamia - whether as descendents of the ancient servitor race or those who were later infected by the burning taint of the Ssarin lineage, which surges with the strength of reptiles.

Ssarin Limbjack:   Prerequisites: Human Race, Character level 5th   Effects: Your arms become snakes and you gain two bite attacks. You gain a +6 to your CMD vs all Disarm maneuvers and a +2 to your CMB for the purposes of grapple maneuvers - though these bonuses only apply while your arms are uncloaked and in their full snake forms. By spending 10 minutes focusing, you can cloak your snake arms in the guise of arms appropriate for your race, and can shed such a guise as an immediate action - this is an extraordinary effect.   Their blood running thick with the damnable taint of the tyrant Cao Lu and his biological manipulations, these uncommon Humans have arms that resemble long, slithering snakes and can use them to reach out and bite others with lethal accuracy.

Ssarin Immortal Honor Guard:   Prerequisites: Human Race, 'Ssarin Limbjack' Racial Feat, Character level 7th   Effects: Your natural reach increases by 5ft as your arms elongate and become even bigger and honestly somewhat inconveniently huge snakes. Gain +2 to your natural armor or +1 CON. You may choose one of the following bonuses to augment these attacks. If you get two or more natural 1s on your attacks in 1 round while your arms are in snake form, your arms become tangled in a snake knot, becoming unusable, and you have to spend a standard action un-jamming your snake arms.
  • These bite attacks gain the grab and swallow whole universal monster rules, and can swallow creatures independently, acting as seperate stomachs. The hole created when a creature cuts its way out of these 'arm stomachs' instantly seal as soon as the escaping creature exits. This swallow whole deals 2d10 acid damage at base, which increases by one dice for every 4HD they possess beyond 7th level.
  •
  • These arms gain Ssarin Venom on their bite attacks(Sting - injury; Save(Fortitude, DC 10 + 1/2HD + CONMOD OR WISMOD(Whichever is higher) Frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; Effect 1d4 Dexterity Damage; Cure 2 Consecutive Saves). They can also be used to deliver stored doses of poison as part of the bite attack made against a hostile creature.
Special: You can cloak your snake arms into the guise of normal arms using Ssarin Limbjack as a movement action that does not provoke Attacks of Opportunity instead of by spending 10 minutes in concentration.   For the rare Humans who find their blood burning with the taint of the ancient tyrant Cao Lu, many are able to hone this gift of blood until it reaches its true potential - able to lash out and swallow others whole with a single bite or even deliver potent venom, they are feared by their brethren but respected for their power...if not their beauty.

Ssarin Masterblood:   Prerequisites: Human Race, At least one 'Ssarin' Racial Feat, At Least one 'Ssarin' Alternate Racial Trait, Character level 9th   Effects: You can use polymorph as a full-round action to take on the form of any Snake animal. You cannot take on the form of a creature with a CR higher than your HD.   As one of the lucky(or unlucky) few who have managed to reclaim enough of their Ssarin heritage as to manifest the shapeshifting abilities once shared by their ancestors as gifts from the tyrant Cao Lu, these humans find themselves able to tap into this wellspring of ancient power to change their bodies into a large variety of serpentine forms.

In Memoria Aeterna:   Prerequisites: Human Race   Effects: Choose from one of the following vows - gain the associated benefit and restriction(Failing to abide by the restriction causes you to lost the benefit until you begin abiding by the restriction for 24 hours straight, at which point you regain the benefit). Additionally, you have a mark somewhere on your body that hints as to the subject of your vow, in which rests a portion of their deceased spirit dwells(More akin to an echo that a true spirit). Thanks to the power of this echo, you gain +4 vs all saves that would alter your memories and may cast augury 1/week by communing with this echo.
  • Silence: You may no longer speak. Gain Telepathy out to 20ft + 10ft/2HD.
  •
  • Vengeance: Never spare nor show mercy to an enemy until the target of your vengeance is slain. You gain the 'Ferocity' Universal Monster Rule, and may gain DR/- equal to your Negative HP total + 4 when below 0 HP.
  •
  • Consumption: You must prepare all your own meals and consume enough each day for both yourself and the subject of your vow. Your stomach becomes a handy haversack(You may choose which items to digest and which to send to the haversack) and you gain a +4 on saves made to resist ingested poisons or other harmful substances.
  •
  • Sight: You must keep your eyes and all means of sight covered at all times. Your other senses heighten to allow you to 'see' without the use of your eyes, rendering you unaffected by blindness, though both deafness and stopping your sense of smell can achieve similar effects on you(GM Discretion). You can, at a touch, send your sight into another creature as per the Chain of Eyes Mesmerist Trick.
No other species is quite like humanity - though they do not excel in any one area, humans, perhaps, are the race that FEELS most keenly; None weep more than they at the loss of a loved one, none empathize more than they when another suffers, and none mourn harder when a beloved master or lord passes on - to this end, many Humans embrace what they FEEL so intensely after a traumatic event or the loss of someone very close to them that they turn to the supernatural teachings of "The Veil", a ragtag group of humans bound by tragedy and loss that teach each other to form a mystic connection with those they have lost to carry on their memory - by living a life their beloved would be proud of and shackling themselves in some small way akin to monks, they believe that they purify their own spirits and most importantly, help themselves and others work through the trauma of loss and tragedy. They abide by the simple maxim "In Memoria Aeterna" - a phrase which loosely translates to "In Memory Always", signifying their belief that the dead are never truly gone so long as they are remembered.
