The area District Zero takes place in. It is located within Stratford.
Even though the entire city of South Work is nicknamed District Zero, there is a very specific area within the city called District Zero. There is a higher population of both m-genomes and aliens in this area.
History
District Zero has a history of being targeted by aliens and is rumored to be the first settlement to ever have contact with them.
Not all contact with aliens has been pleasant, unfortunately.
Geography
South Work is a pretty isolated district located on an island in a massive, deep lake. The next closest district is New Garden which is a half a day away.
Surrounding the district is a massive forest partial ring of trees cut off by mountains. A bridge of considerable size connects the island to the mainland.
Natural Resources
There is rumored to be some sort of resource only found in the area of district zero that the aliens want.
