Reports of people being attacked at night reach the government.
Beginning in the first week of Kaelhon, people have been reported missing or dead in the streets of Vesium. Over the following weeks, further reports indicated the perpetrators to be vampires, including the claims of one adventuring band who also brought in heads of several vampire spawn. The city's government in tandem with the Order of Avalon looked to finding the source while maintaining panic low. Ultimately, as the attacks escalated, Vesium's officials declared a state of emergency, encouraging citizens to avoid going out into the streets at night. Among other consequences of these attacks include Vesius IV fully adopting his role as head of House Gaventon. As of the present, the attacks continue on those reckless enough to traverse the city at night and those people once declared missing have cropped up as spawn themselves. The source remains unknown.
