The Cult of Red are those who seek to be taken over by malignancy, the hope is to become it’s controller to acquire power and immortality through their hate. However the majority don’t have enough hate in their hearts and their will is broken, becoming another pawn to the Malignancy.
The stories of the malignancy spread to the wrong ears; they seek it out to protect it. Fester it there who have not lived through a malignant outbreak seek this thing out. Ignorant perhaps purposely to the fraught outcomes.
