Zelnoria

In this world, you are born with magic, but most people never awaken to it until they "connect with a God". That's why in a lot of towns, the ability to use magic is just a myth made up by some foreigners. As for the people lucky enough to wield magic, it is usually very subtle and useless, but they are highly appreciated by the country and earn the title of "Child of the Gods", more commonly known as magic users.     Zelnoria takes place in an RPG like setting, in the country Haveward, where the land is divided into two parts, one for the rich, and one for the poor. Haveward is in a war with the country ..., which is known for having very strong magic users. In a desperate attempt to win this already lost battle, they force children to "connect with a God" by taking some awful and cruel measures. With these forced attempts, most of the kids die or are get paralyzed for the rest of their lives. And the kids that survived had to take painful and sometimes deadly training. While more and more kids and teenagers go missing, the inhabitants are forced to watch while it all happens, because when they resist, the HMP (Haveward Military Police) has permission to kill.
