Zearna

Zearna is a world with constant strife between the eternal forces of the Deus's pantheon, the gods that founded the Mortal Plane and brought life to its planets, and the Forgotten One, Nihil. Ever since the beginning of time when Dues was created from the truly random arcane sparks in the once-only Eternal Plane. When Deus made the vast emptiness of the Astral Plane, Nihil was an accidental outcome. Ever step Dues made, Nihil was his counterforce. Dues made the Mortal Plane, Nihil made the Realm of Shadows. Deus's pantheon made mortal races each with specific ideas, Nihil gave them free will.   Until with the birth of Humans, and the creation of the Clergy Pact, which bans direct interactions to the Mortal Plane. Part of the Pact also banned Mortals from even the knowledge of Nihil, and without interaction, they became known as the Forgotten One. Throughout most major events in history, Nihil found a different way into the Mortal Plane for varying reasons. Neither Nihil of Deus are evil, it more of crises between order and chaos.   The world itself varies greatly in genre dependent on when the story takes place, whether its High Fantasy in the Draconic, Magic, and Free Eras. To Low Fantasy in the Human, Taliara's, and Hope Eras. Late Draconic and Taliara's Eras are both Dark Fantasy. These take place on Zion, but Zion's twin planet, Gemini, holds very alien races and many punk styles throughout its history. With soft magic and tech systems, and several non-child friendly themes. Genre tags are based on the time period of the current campaign setting, it is subject to change over time. The current setting is Late Free Era.
