The Enchanted Piano was a relic of the The Zealian Empire rediscovered by New Zeal in modern-day Zealor. It has the unique ability to evoke intense emotions from the listener. This ability was used by Zealomancers to quickly and efficiently manifest elements in everyday life while also having been used for recreation.

History

The Enchanted Piano was invented at the academy of Heart and Mind in Senturica as an aid to help fledgling Zealomancers evoke certain emotions. This was a tool especially used by people who couldn't manifest emotions from memories, and would instead use recordings and live performances of Enchanted Piano works.
After the fall of Zeal, this artifact was lost until explorers from New Zeal rediscovered Amgine: The Lost Continent. Modern-day engineers have reproduced this technology and adapted it to contain 8 separate distinct sounds which each invoke a different emotion in a listener. These 8 presets can be combined and further mixed to create sounds so powerful they have been said to cause non-Zealomancers to manifest emotions. Today, most oligarchs within New Zeal have access to and can play the instrument, albeit quite rudimentarily compared to the legendary musicians of Antiquity.
