Hyrell (Hi-rel)
Originally built as a great fortress to guard the newly-formed borders of Feland, Hyrell has since grown into a fortified castle town. Its main purpose is still largely the same, as this town is seen as the vanguard of the nation against any threats that would come from the north and west, though they have had to spread their forces out further and further into camps and outposts over time. The town also serves as a smaller version of Balam, as they have their own facilities for military training and education, though to a lesser capacity and variety.
Apart from its border patrol and militaristic origins, Hyrell is also somewhat unique for having a monarchy-like government. Said monarch still is ultimately loyal and subservient to The Magocracy in Truce, but their power within Hyrell is seen as nearly absolute. The oversight of The Magocracy and other laws and principles etched into their local laws have so far prevented any abuse of this station. The current ruler is a king named Leon Rudrum Hyrell , though most wouldn't notice because his appearances and interactions with the public are rare due to a litany of important duties that constantly demand his time. For more public-facing duties, his son Lincoln Hyrell and his most trusted retainer Dezla Nidam are often seen.
